I started as a young child playing in the mud and knew from an early age what I was going to be; I would be an artist.
I graduated from Long Beach State with a degree specializing in painting, ceramics, drawing, and photography.
Pottery wheel was a very important step in my career. I love hand building and incorporating my skills in both throwing and sculpting to create pieces that are both technical and creative. I am always exploring new ways to expand my creativity. I am not limited to one technique or application. I never tire of learning new ways to express myself as an artist and potter. I literally cannot get enough of pottery and look at it as a wonderful endless journey. I started out as a ceramic decorator/painter for a company and worked for several years doing production work. I continued to explore my own creativity and desire to be an artist.
Living in North Florida and having the ocean at my back door has inspired my work and the sea life is such an important part of my creations.
My works are hand thrown and sculpted one of a kind pieces. I love what I do and would never change a thing. It has truly been and is a thirty-five year passion of mine and I just want to share it. So... Enjoy!
