Owl's Nest is the name of my jewelry design studio nestled deep in the piney woods of Thomasville, Georgia. Many of my pieces are made of fine silver. I sculpt, mold or carve clay made of pure silver dust. After kiln firing the resulting piece is 99.9% pure silver.
I am inspired by nature's beauty, imagination, an art history education and my daughter's amazing sense of style. Many names of specific works reference mythology, the world of faeries or something just beautiful and meaningful to me. Overall, my pieces are defined by natural elements and a quiet style. Each piece of jewelry is hand crafted and unique, so each piece is a product of attention to detail and love.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in The History and Criticism of Art from Florida State University and have participated in post-graduate studies in Ancient Art at the University of Texas. My husband Mike and I live in Thomasville, GA.
